I began Lifesaving at the age of 7 in Pentwyn Leisure Centre, working my way through the Rookie Lifeguard Programme.

By the age of 12, I moved up to Club ( Survive & Save Programme ) where I worked through my Bronze, Silver and Gold Medallion, whilst also volunteering with the Rookie Lifeguard Programme as an assistant.

Soon after turning 16, I went onto becoming an Assistant Survive & Save Coach as well as going onto my ASA Level 1 Swimming Teachers.

One of my biggest achievements took part during the year of 2017, I was awarded RLSS UK Merit Honour - Young Lifesaver of the Year, which took place in an award ceremony in the Guild Hall, London - In recognition of my valuable contribution to Pentwyn Lifesaving Club and RLSS UK.

Following on from this award, Pentwyn Leisure Centre recognised my lifesaving abilities and placed me onto my National Pool Lifeguard Qualification ( NPLQ ), to continue further on my journey.

Finally, after reaching my 18th Birthday, Jo & Carl, put me forwarded to become a Survive & Save Instructor and I have been with the club ever since, sharing my knowledge and passion to future lifesavers.

A few things you may not know about me:

1. I am a Lead Swimming Instructor across 3 sites in Cardiff.

2. I took part in bringing Pentwyn Lifesaving Club back, now known as Cardiff Lifesaving Club - Across 2 sites!

3. I teach swimming lessons to anyone from Pre-school all the way to Adult Lessons

4. I love gaming!
